Job summary

Snowy Monaro Regional Council is seeking a Coordinator Water and Wastewater Operations to lead reactive, planned and operational works across the Snowy Monaro region. You will coordinate with area supervisors, oversee asset maintenance, and ensure safety, quality and environmental standards are met.

The role requires technical qualifications in water/wastewater operations, experience with GIS/SCADA, and the ability to manage budgets and respond to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Technical qualifications related to water and wastewater operations.
• Experience in operation of water & wastewater treatment plants.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate activities on water and wastewater plants and networks.
• Delegate maintenance tasks and liaise with vendors and service providers.
• Develop and implement SOPs, maintenance and incident plans across sites.
