Job summary

Seqwater is the Queensland Government Bulk Water Supply Authority, delivering safe, secure and cost-effective bulk water across Southeast Queensland. This role operates, monitors, and optimises water treatment plants to meet supply targets and maintain water quality.

You will collect samples, analyse data, and respond to alarms and faults. The position requires Certificate II in Water Industry Operations or equivalent, and a manual C-class driving licence.

Qualifications

• Certificate II or higher in Water Industry Operations or deemed equivalent experience.
• C class Drivers Licence for a manual vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, control and optimise water treatment processes.
• Collect and analyse process samples on schedule.
• Identify faults and implement changes or contingency plans.
• Record daily plant data, logs and shift events.
• Report breakdowns and abnormal events to protect water quality.
