Qualifications

• Certificate III in Water Industry Operations or equivalent.
• Experience in water industry with emphasis on water and wastewater treatment processes and management systems.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Highly developed organisational skills, including prioritising multiple tasks.
• Demonstrated success leading and motivating a team to achieve targets.
• Valid and current Australian driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop employees to achieve corporate objectives and treatment operations duties.
• Provide supervision to treatment operations works, including contracted activities, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Oversee and coordinate planned and reactive works, prioritising resources with planning and scheduling teams.
• Operate and maintain water treatment, disinfection and sewage treatment plants, including water quality monitoring and incident response.
