Job summary

Fraser Coast Region in Queensland invites applications for a Wastewater Treatment Team Leader to oversee plant operations and ensure reliable, compliant wastewater treatment that protects public health and the environment.

You will lead day-to-day wastewater treatment activities, monitor processes, coordinate maintenance, and develop staff to achieve operational outcomes across facilities in Hervey Bay and surrounding regions.

• As a Wastewater Treatment Team Leader you'll play a key role in delivering reliable, compliant wastewater treatment services that protect public health and the environment.
• Lead and coordinate day- to -day wastewater treatment operations to meet environmental, regulatory and service objectives.
• Monitor and optimise treatment processes, respond to operational issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain plant reliability and compliance.
• Coordinate chemical procurement, handling and dosing, ensuring safe and compliant use.

What you need

• Class C or CA driver licence.
• Demonstrated experience in wastewater treatment operations, maintenance and process optimisation.
• Proven ability to lead, supervise and develop staff to achieve operational outcomes.
