Job summary

Veolia in Woodlawn is seeking a Laboratory Technician to provide precise water analysis for leachate treatment and reverse osmosis plants. You will support safe operations and contribute to ecological transformation in a practical, hands-on role.

You will conduct sampling, prepare reagents, maintain records and help drive quality systems, working with operations and laboratory teams. A commitment to safety and continuous improvement is essential, with ongoing training and opportunities to mentor

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in chemistry, laboratory science or related discipline.
• Experience in sampling, sample preservation, analytical testing and lab equipment operation.
• Knowledge of quality assurance systems and water or wastewater treatment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sampling, laboratory testing and analysis across Woodlawn Leachate Treatment and Reverse Osmosis Plants.
• Prepare reagents, standards and sample containers and ensure proper storage and preservation.
• Maintain accurate records, databases and reports, and communicate water-quality exceedances promptly.
