Veolia is seeking a Laboratory Technician at the Woodlawn site to provide precise water analysis for leachate treatment and reverse osmosis systems. The role focuses on accurate sampling, testing, record keeping, and contributing to safety and ecological transformation in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in chemistry, laboratory science or a related discipline are required.
• Experience with sampling, sample preservation and analytical testing is preferred.
• Familiarity with quality assurance systems and water or wastewater operations is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Conduct sampling, laboratory testing and analysis for Woodlawn Leachate Treatment and Reverse Osmosis plants.
• Prepare reagents, standards and sample containers and ensure proper storage.
• Maintain accurate records, databases and reports and communicate water-quality exceedances.
• Support quality systems, audits, procedures and process optimisation.
• Coordinate external laboratory testing, stock control and procurement.
• Promote safe, compliant and environmentally responsible laboratory practices.
• Collaborate with operations teams and mentor staff, including on-call duties.
