Job summary

SA Water is seeking a Technical Training Adviser to strengthen capability, safety and compliance across regional operations. This 12-month fixed-term role combines advisory work with hands-on training and assessment, collaborating with leaders, trainers, and external providers to implement practical training solutions.

You will develop training pathways, coordinate delivery, conduct competency assessments, and maintain governance-aligned records, with statewide travel as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical training, learning and development, workforce capability or related operational discipline.
• Ability to develop training tools and materials and facilitate learning.

Responsibilities

• Turn training requirements into practical solutions with leaders, SMEs and external providers.
• Develop training pathways and learning materials; coordinate delivery and assessments.
• Monitor participation, completion and competency outcomes; escalate risks and gaps; maintain records.
