Job summary

The City of Gold Coast is seeking a Network Engineering Officer to support water networks by investigating performance and identifying improvement opportunities. You will focus on water loss and pressure management using SCADA, PI and OT data to support the Branch Strategy and the Digital Twin Program.

You will develop practical tools and information for Network Operations, participate in the after-hours on-call roster, and collaborate with Water Operations, Asset Management and Planning to

Qualifications

• Advanced Diploma in Engineering or equivalent knowledge and/or relevant experience.
• Experience turning operational data (SCADA/PI) into practical insight.
• Class C driver's license is mandatory.
• Strong time management and analytical thinking with internal/external customers.
• Commitment to safety and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Support water networks by investigating performance and identifying improvements.
• Focus on water loss and pressure management using SCADA/PI/OT data.
• Develop tools and guidance for Network Operations.
• Participate in after-hours on-call roster as backup resource.
