The City of Gold Coast is seeking a Network Engineering Officer to support its water networks. You will investigate network performance with a focus on water loss and pressure management, leveraging SCADA, PI and OT data for practical insights and analytics under the Digital Twin Program.

You will develop tools and guidance to help Network Operations run the water network safely and efficiently, and participate in after-hours on-call rosters as needed.

Qualifications

• Advanced Diploma in Engineering or equivalent knowledge and/or relevant experience.
• Experience working with operational data such as SCADA or PI and turning it into practical insight.
• Class C (car) driver's licence (mandatory).
• Excellent time management and analytical thinking with a focus on customers.
• Commitment to safety.
• Strong communication, consultation and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to build and maintain constructive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Support the City’s water networks by investigating network performance and identifying practical improvement opportunities.
• Focus on water loss and pressure management using engineering analysis, SCADA, PI and OT data to support the Digital Twin Program’s models and analytics.
• Develop practical tools, guidance and information to help Network Operations operate the water network safely and efficiently.
• Participate in the Network Operations after-hours on-call roster as a backup for the supervisor.
