Job summary

AECOM is expanding its Water Infrastructure team in New South Wales. The Civil Treatment Lead will oversee the design and delivery of water and wastewater projects, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with colleagues across Australia, New Zealand and our global network.

You will coordinate projects from inception to construction, ensure QA, schedule, and budget adherence, and contribute to civil infrastructure planning for treatment facilities. AECOM values diversity and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Tertiary engineering qualification and CPEng (or working towards/eligible).
• Experience delivering water/wastewater projects in consulting/design.
• Experience with treatment plant upgrades and civil works.
• Knowledge of Australian codes and standards for water treatment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of water and wastewater treatment projects, including upgrades.
• Coordinate and manage projects from inception to completion, including bidding and construction phase support.
• Contribute to planning and design of civil infrastructure for treatment facilities.
• Ensure quality assurance, deliver projects safely on time and within budget.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with global teams.
