Job summary

Sydney Water is seeking a Project Officer based in Parramatta to develop and deliver water efficiency programs for residential and non-residential customers. You will coordinate projects, engage stakeholders, and support budgeting, reporting and procurement activities to ensure successful program delivery.

Key responsibilities include monitoring outcomes, analysing program performance, and contributing to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Project Officer role focusing on customer or program delivery.
• Experience in delivering or implementing programs and benefits realization; delivery of business improvement projects; or customer-facing programs.
• At least 2 years’ experience in contract management.
• Experience delivering procurement processes including tender design, competitive tender, and post-award management.
• Experience delivering service delivery contracts and strong contract management knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a range of projects and programs with internal stakeholders, customers, contractors and plumbers.
• Engage with customers, coordinate appointments, monitor program outcomes and prepare reporting.
• Support budget and financial management activities and contribute to cost control and forecasting.
• Deliver effective project and contract management including procurement activities and post-award management.
• Analyse opportunities for new customer programs to improve water efficiency and report on outcomes.
