Job summary

Water Corporation seeks a capable project leader to deliver water and wastewater infrastructure across Perth Metro Area. Based in Osborne Park, the role covers planning, design, construction, commissioning and handover with close collaboration with contractors and internal teams.

You will manage schedules, costs, and risks while ensuring safety, quality and environmental standards. A strong emphasis on stakeholder engagement and procurement processes is required for successful delivery.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline preferred.
• Strong project management capabilities across design, construction and handover.
• Experience managing contractors, consultants and suppliers, with tendering and procurement knowledge.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across diverse groups.
• Solid understanding of safety, environmental and quality requirements; compliant project delivery.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead water and wastewater infrastructure projects from planning to handover.
• Coordinate contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders to meet objectives.
• Monitor schedules, costs, risks and performance with progress updates.
• Support tendering and contract management activities and assess contractor performance.
• Conduct site inspections and lead project meetings ensuring safety and quality standards.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders to support project delivery.
