Qualifications

• Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on floor work.

Responsibilities

• Leading the team—allocating daily tasks and onboarding the 5-person crew.
• Hands-on warehouse operations on the floor with forklifts, receiving, picking, packing, and transport bookings.
• ERP & inventory accuracy—prompt, error-free transactions in SAP Business One for receipts, picks, deliveries, and cycle counts.
• Frontline safety—daily equipment checks, safety oversight, CoR loading compliance, and housekeeping.
• Consumables & maintenance—keeping packaging supplies stocked and scheduling forklift/crane servicing.

The Role

You’ll lead from the front to keep our warehouse running smoothly, safely, and on schedule.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Leading the team - running the morning toolbox, allocating daily tasks across the 5-person team, onboarding/training, clearing floor bottlenecks, and maintaining tempo.

Hands-on warehouse operations - leading by example on the floor - operating forklifts, loading/unloading, receiving, picking, packing, booking transport, and updating the system.

ERP & inventory accuracy - prompt, error-free system transactions in our ERP (SAP Business One) for receipts, picks, deliveries, and coordinating cycle counts.

Frontline safety - daily equipment pre-start checks, safety oversight, Chain of Responsibility (CoR) loading compliance, and clean warehouse housekeeping.

Consumables & maintenance - keeping packaging consumables stocked and booking routine servicing for forklifts, cranes, and waste removal.

This role is a hands-on 'floor captain' role with approx. 30% of your time leading the team and 70% on the floor in daily warehouse operations.

About You

You’ll be a grounded, reliable frontline leader who leads by example, takes pride in what they do, and brings a positive, team-first attitude every day.

Key things we're looking for:

Warehouse experience: Proven background in a fast-paced, structured warehouse (e.g., FMCG, retail DC, or high-volume wholesale).

Frontline leader: Prior experience as a Team Leader allocating daily tasks and keeping a small warehouse team productive (or ready to step-up to doing this).

Licences: Valid Forklift ticket (LF) and C-Class Driver's Licence.

Computer fluency: Confident using warehouse ERP/WMS systems (SAP Business One experience is a bonus).

Physically fit: Most of your day is active floor work hands-on alongside your team.
