Job summary

All Gen Foods in Sydney is seeking a hands-on warehouse lead who will take real ownership of daily pick, pack and dispatch, and run the warehouse when the owner is out with customers.

You’ll ensure orders go out accurately, stock is checked, the warehouse is clean and safe, and you’ll liaise with drivers and suppliers. Forklift and driver’s licences are essential; FMCG distribution experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence and valid driver’s licence required.
• Warehouse experience in FMCG distribution preferred.
• Ability to take ownership and plan own day.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack and dispatch store orders accurately and on time.
• Run daily dispatch to delivery and regional freight partners.
• Receive and check incoming stock, including transfers from 3PL.
• Keep stock levels accurate and flag shortages or discrepancies early.

All Gen Foods is a Sydney-based, family-operated food distributor supplying independent supermarkets and grocers with imported and local products. We’re growing rapidly and looking for someone who wants to be part of something big and grow with us.

We need someone to take real ownership of our warehouse. You’ll pick and pack orders day to day, but you’ll also run the warehouse yourself while the owner is out with customers: making sure orders go out right, stock is accurate and the place runs smoothly. As the business grows, so will the opportunities for the right person.

What you’ll do

• Pick, pack and dispatch store orders accurately and on time
• Run daily dispatch to our delivery and regional freight partners against the delivery schedule
• Receive and check incoming stock, including transfers from our 3PL
• Keep stock levels accurate and flag shortages or discrepancies early
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised and safe

What we’re looking for

• Takes ownership: treats the warehouse like it’s your own and doesn’t need to be chased
• Current forklift licence and driver’s licence (essential)
• Warehouse experience; food or FMCG distribution a strong plus
• Fast, accurate and reliable, with a high standard of work when no one is watching
• Able to plan your own day and solve problems without being told
• Good communication and comfortable dealing with drivers and suppliers
• Someone who takes pride in their work and wants to build something long-term

• $70,000–$80,000 + super, depending on experience
