Job summary

IntoWork Australia is seeking an experienced Warehouse Picker with High Reach Forklift experience in Sydney. The role focuses on accurate order picking and inventory control, utilizing RF scanners and WMS to ensure efficient dispatch readiness.

Ideal candidates have a current forklift licence, proven high reach forklift experience, and strong attention to detail. The position offers a Monday–Friday roster with 7:00am–3:00pm shifts and opportunities for overtime and career development.

Qualifications

• Forklift Licence is essential.
• Experience operating a High Reach Forklift is required.
• Experience in picking, replenishment and inventory control is essential.
• Proficiency using RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders accurately using picking slips, RF scanners and WMS
• Verify product codes, quantities, descriptions and batch numbers
• Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) stock rotation procedures
• Identify and report stock shortages, damaged goods and inventory discrepancies
• Ensure orders are complete and ready for packing and dispatch
• Safely operate a High Reach Forklift to retrieve and replenish stock from warehouse racking
• Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures

About the Role

This role is ideal for a warehouse professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining high levels of picking accuracy and inventory control.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current Forklift Licence (essential)
• Proven High Reach Forklift experience
• Previous warehouse picking and replenishment experience
• Experience using RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Understanding of FIFO and inventory management processes
• Ability to work within a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Strong safety focus and team-oriented attitude
• Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic
