Qualifications

  • Proven experience supervising warehouse operations or leading a busy logistics team.
  • Strong planning, problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced setting.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to work well with internal teams and external carriers.
  • Current forklift licence and confidence operating in a warehouse environment.
  • Background in industrial products, manufacturing, trade supply, construction materials or similar environments will be viewed favourably.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the warehouse team through daily receipting, storage, order picking and dispatch activities
  • Plan workloads, assign tasks and monitor progress throughout the day
  • Keep freight, inventory and customer orders moving efficiently through the warehouse

  • Monitor stock movements and follow up discrepancies, delays or order issues promptly
  • Support strong communication between warehouse, customer service and operations teams
  • Identify practical improvements that help reduce errors, improve layout and increase efficiency
  • Maintain a clean, safe and well-organised warehouse environment
  • Train, mentor and guide team members to support performance and accountability
  • Reinforce safe work habits and ensure site procedures are followed

An established industrial supply business is looking for a capable Warehouse Supervisor to manage the daily flow of goods through its warehouse. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will balance people management, stock accuracy, dispatch priorities and safe warehouse practices.
