The successful candidate will accurately pick and pack orders, safely load/unload goods using forklifts and cranes, assist with stock control and liaise with dispatch, sales and production teams to ensure orders are

Competenze

• Must have a valid driver’s licence.
• Experience operating a counterbalance forklift.
• Experience using overhead cranes is advantageous but not essential.
• Must be detail oriented and accurate in handling orders and stock records.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and organisational skills.

• Accurately pick and prepare customer orders, ensuring quantities and specifications are correct.
• Load customer orders onto trucks and ensure materials are safely secured for transport.
• Receive, check and store incoming goods and materials.
• Safely load and unload goods using forklifts, cranes and other warehouse equipment.
• Assist with stock control, stocktakes and reporting any stock discrepancies.
• Maintain an organised, efficient and safe warehouse and stock storage area.
• Monitor stock levels and report low stock or discrepancies to the Warehouse Leading Hand or Warehouse and Logistics Manager.
• Operate forklifts and cranes safely in accordance with WHS requirements and company procedures.
• Work closely with dispatch, sales and production teams to ensure customer orders are completed accurately and on time.
• Assist metal machinists with tasks including bundling and moving processed steel products.
• Complete delivery dockets, stock records and other warehouse documentation accurately.
• Report any equipment faults, malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment.
• Provide general support to other departments as required.
