Lindsay Australia Limited is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor for its Mareeba Rural Branch. This hands-on leadership role focuses on guiding the warehouse team, maintaining inventory accuracy, and delivering exceptional service to farming customers in a fast-paced rural environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory role in a warehouse environment.
• Strong inventory control and stock management experience.
• Sales exposure within the rural sector preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rural store front and ensure availability of merchandise.
• Ensure stock is ordered, stored, and sold in line with requirements.
• Display products in line with marketing guidelines.
• Schedule and assign tasks to shop employees.
• Maintain store compliance with legal requirements and safety standards.
• Identify customer requirements by building rapport with customers.
• Protect staff and customers by keeping a clean and safe store environment.

Job description

Our Mareeba Rural Branch is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor, with a strong rural industry background to lead our warehouse team.

This hands-on leadership role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, leading a team by example, and delivering exceptional service to our farming customers. You'll play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, promoting a strong safety culture, and ensuring our warehouse operations support the needs of regional communities.

Your main responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Maintain rural store front and ensures availability of merchandise
• Ensure stock is ordered, stored, and sold in line with requirements
• Correctly display product in store in line with marketing requirements
• Schedule and assign tasks to employees working in the shop
• Maintain the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal and legislative requirements
• Identify current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers.
• Protect employees and customers by maintaining a clean and safe store environment

What You'll Bring:

Previous experience in a supervisory role ideally in a Warehouse environment

Inventory management

Sales experience within the Rural Sector

Ability to motivate, mentor and develop team members

Superior interpersonal skills and the ability to manage staff effectively.

Prior experience with loading and unloading of freight, ideally perishable goods.

Excellent planning & organisational skills with good attention to detail

Flexibility, resilience with the ability to work with ever changing priorities.
