Lindsay Australia Group is seeking a reliable Storeperson for our Innisfail rural store to support local farmers and the agricultural community. The role involves stock control, order preparation, and loading/unloading deliveries in a hands-on warehouse environment.

You will maintain accurate stock records, assist customers, and collaborate with the team to ensure timely dispatches while upholding safety in handling chemicals and agricultural packaging.

Qualifications

• Current Forklift Licence highly regarded.
• Reliable, practical, and physically fit.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and team mindset.
• Experience in rural, agricultural, or warehouse work is highly desirable.
• Have excellent customer service and relationship building skills.
• Have a commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Ability to work in and around chemical, fertilizer, nutrient and packaging.

Responsibilities

• Stock control and receiving of goods.
• Stock distribution, storing and preparing for dispatching.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Record chemicals as per Lindsay Rural procedures.
• Maintain accurate and efficient stock control at all times.
• Counter / store front sales and service as required.
• General store duties as required.

The Role:

Our Innisfail Rural Branch is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Storeperson to join our rural store supporting local farmers and the agricultural community.

In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for receiving and organising stock, preparing customer orders, loading and unloading deliveries, and helping keep the store and warehouse running smoothly. You’ll work closely with our team to ensure farmers get the supplies they need, when they need them.
