Job summary

Voestalpine Group is seeking a seasoned Warehouse Supervisor to lead the Mackay stores and warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory, timely stock movements, and efficient processes to support manufacturing and project delivery.   • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stocktakes and ERP transactions.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment to support production needs.
  • Prepare, issue, and stage materials for production work orders and projects.
  • Coordinate inter-branch stock transfers and offsite storage.
  • Monitor inbound deliveries and expedite material movements to ensure production continuity.
  • Allocate daily workloads and adjust resources to meet changing demands.
  • Drive continuous improvement focused on safety, accuracy, efficiency, and warehouse performance.

The Position

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our Supply Chain team. In this role, you will lead the day-to-day operation of our stores and warehouse function, ensuring materials, inventory, and stock movements are managed efficiently to support manufacturing and project delivery requirements. Working closely with the Supply Chain Manager and Production teams, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, coordinating stock movements, supervising warehouse personnel, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will also play a key role in supporting MRP-driven inventory processes and ensuring materials are available when required to support production schedules. To succeed in this role, you will have demonstrated experience in a warehouse, stores, logistics, or supply chain leadership position within a manufacturing or industrial environment. You will be a hands-on leader with strong inventory management experience, excellent organisational skills, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities

About You

To be successful in this role with our team, you will need:


Previous experience in a Warehouse, Stores, Logistics, or Supply Chain leadership role.


Strong understanding of inventory control and warehouse management principles.


Demonstrated experience using ERP, MRP, or inventory management systems.


Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.


Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.


Ability to prioritise competing tasks in a fast-paced operational environment.


Commitment to workplace health, safety, and continuous improvement.


Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement methodologies (desirable).
