Job summary

Tradezone Pty Ltd is hiring Store Person for its Blacktown (Sydney) warehouse. This full-time role offers fixed AM/PM/NIGHT shifts with overtime and Saturday options. The job involves picking and packing orders, forklift operation, and stock reception.

You must have a current forklift license and proven driving experience, with reliability and a proactive attitude essential to succeed. Full-time permanent role with weekly pay, annual and family leave from day one, and opportunities for career

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing orders for contractors and homeowners.
• Operate forklift and related machinery with safety and confidence.
• Receive stock from deliveries and place into correct locations.
• Replenish stock and keep assigned areas organized.
• Maintain a clean and safe work site, including disposal of rubbish.

Tradezone is the fastest growing electrical wholesaler in Australia. Our family owned and operated philosophy has driven our success where we continue to grow. We have Distribution Centers located throughout Australia, including Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and our Head Office on the Gold Coast.

Due to continued growth we've now created multiple roles as Store Person to hit the ground running at our Blacktown (Sydney) warehouse on the following shift:

AM: 4am-12pm Monday to Friday

PM: 12pm-8pm Monday to Friday

NIGHT: 8pm-12am Sunday-Thursday

There are overtime opportunities along with Saturday shifts available. This shift will require your own ability to travel to work as there are limited public transport options available in the area.

Responsibilities

Picking and packing orders - we service building contractors to home-owners and everyone in between - so no order is the same!

Operation of Forklift and related machinery - confidence and safety is key

Taking a proactive approach to quality control

Receiving stock from our suppliers (from deliveries to our DC)

Putting away and replenishing stock (into assigned areas of our DC)

Keep a clean and safe work site through ensuring rubbish (boxes, packing materials etc) are cleared into assigned areas

Please note, this role contains repetitive manual handling tasks. Some heavy lifting is required.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

A current forklift license (LO or LF) and demonstrated driving experience in your most current role is highly regarded- some parts of the role will require it.

Be reliable with a proactive, positive and enthusiastic attitude

Strong interpersonal skills and a clear ability to follow instructions

Manual handling is a primary duty - Must be reasonably fit and be able to last for long periods on your feet

As the duties are repetitive in nature, solid attention to detail is required

Picker / Packer experience is an advantage
