Job summary

Temperzone Limited at Blacktown is seeking a permanent full-time Storeperson to manage receipt, storage and dispatch of materials. The role runs 7:00am to 4:30pm, with a shorter day on Fridays (7:00am–2:00pm).

You’ll report to Warehouse Team Leaders and help ensure safe, efficient operations and meeting customer demand. You must have a Forklift Licence with relevant experience, a strong safety mindset, good communication, numeracy and basic IT skills.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence with 2+ years’ experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of WHS requirements and safety practices.
• Good communication and team-oriented approach.
• Solid numeracy and basic IT skills for stock counting and paperwork.
• Understanding of Chain of Responsibility and handling of Dangerous Goods would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick, pack and process distribution orders to meet daily schedules.
• Safely receive, store and dispatch stock following warehouse procedures.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move and organise stock.
• Unload containers and support customer interactions as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised warehouse in line with WHS standards.
• Complete manual handling tasks safely and correctly.
• Participate in cycle counts and stocktakes to support inventory accuracy.

About the role
We are looking for permanent full-time Storepersons at our Blacktown site operating between the hours of 7:00am to 4:30pm, with the advantage of having a shorter day on Fridays between 7am – 2pm. As a Warehouse Operator, you’ll report to the Warehouse Team Leaders and play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials, goods, and products to meet business operations and customer demand.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick, pack, and process distribution orders to meet daily delivery schedules
• Safely receive, store, and dispatch stock in line with warehouse procedures
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move, stack, and organise stock efficiently
• Unload containers and support customer interactions as required
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑organised warehouse environment in line with WHS standards
• Complete manual handling tasks safely and correctly
• Participate in cycle counts and stocktakes to support inventory accuracy
• Work closely with team members to ensure smooth daily warehouse operations

What you will bring to the role

• A valid Forklift Licence with 2+ years’ experience in counterbalance and high‑reach operation
• A strong safety mindset and understanding of WHS requirements
• Good communication skills and a team‑focused approach
• A methodical, accurate work style with good numeracy skills
• Basic IT skills and confidence completing paperwork and stock counts
• Understanding of Chain of Responsibility and Dangerous Goods handling
• Flexibility to support different warehouse tasks as needed
• Strong attention to detail and a positive, can‑do attitude
