Job summary

Compass Group Pty Limited is seeking a Warehouse Receptionist in Perth to provide professional, friendly front‑of‑house support within a busy warehouse environment.

You will manage the site switchboard, welcome visitors, coordinate inductions, handle mail and general admin, and assist with site meetings while maintaining security and a neat, safe workspace.

Part‑time, Monday to Friday, with compensation up to $30 per hour plus super, aligned with experience as part of Restaurant Associates.

Qualifications

• Experience in a reception, switchboard, administration or customer service role.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and admin systems.
• Professional and proactive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the site switchboard and direct calls and enquiries efficiently.
• Welcome visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers, ensuring sign-in and site access requirements are completed.
• Coordinate visitor management, contractor documentation, and site inductions.
• Receive and distribute mail, deliveries, and courier items.
• Provide general administrative support, including data entry, filing, and record management.
• Monitor reception and common areas to maintain a professional, safe, and well-presented environment.
• Support site meetings, bookings, and other operational requirements.
• Liaise with warehouse operations, service providers, and stakeholders to support daily site activities.

We currently have an opportunity for a Warehouse Receptionist to provide a professional, friendly, and efficient front-of-house service within a busy warehouse environment. As the first point of contact for visitors, contractors, delivery drivers, and team members, you will play a key role in maintaining site security, managing the switchboard, and supporting day-to-day administrative operations.

THE POSITION

THE PERSON

• Previous experience in a reception, switchboard, administration, or customer service role
• Confident managing a busy switchboard and multiple competing priorities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional and approachable manner
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general administrative systems
• Customer-focused with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach
• Reliable, professional, and committed to maintaining confidentiality and site security standards
