Job summary

Restaurant Associates is seeking a Night Concierge for our corporate functions and events centre based in Kirribilli, Sydney. You will be the primary after-hours point of contact for clients and visitors, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience while supporting the smooth operation of the site overnight.

This full-time night role involves coordinating with clients, delivering friendly service, light setup tasks, and keeping front-of-house areas clean and secure.

Qualifications

• Experience in concierge, reception, front-of-house, hospitality or similar client-facing roles.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts including weekends/public holidays (penalties apply).
• Strong communication with clients and colleagues; ability to follow routine instructions.
• Proficient with basic computer software such as Outlook and Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and colleagues; follow routine instructions.
• Deliver friendly, professional customer service; respond promptly to requests and escalate issues as needed.
• Perform light manual handling such as room setup and moving furniture per safety guidelines.
• Maintain clean, safe, and well-presented front-of-house areas at all times.
• Support daily operations including security liaison, delivery coordination, event assistance, and preparation for the next day.

We are seeking a Night Concierge for our corporate functions and events center based in Kirribilli, Sydney! As a Night Concierge, you will be the primary after-hours point of contact for clients and visitors, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience while supporting the smooth operation of the site overnight.

THE POSITION

• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and colleagues; able to follow routine instructions and complete basic administrative tasks
• Deliver friendly, professional customer service, responding promptly to requests and appropriately managing or escalating any issues
• Perform light manual handling tasks (e.g. room set-ups, moving furniture) in line with workplace safety guidelines
• Maintain clean, safe, and well-presented front-of-house areas at all times
• Support daily operations including security liaison, delivery coordination, event assistance, and ensuring facilities are prepared for the next day

THE PERSON

• Previous experience in a concierge, reception, front-of-house, hospitality, customer service, or similar client-facing role
• Availability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required (penalties apply)
• Strong communication with clients, delegates, and colleagues
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and make sound decisions with minimal supervision
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office applications
