Job summary

Findstaff is seeking an experienced High Reach Forklift Operator for a full-time role in Sydney. You will manage the receipt, putaway and storage of inbound stock using Linde high reach forklifts in a busy distribution environment.

The ideal candidate holds a current Forklift Licence, proven high reach forklift experience, and familiarity with WMS, FIFO and FEFO processes. A safety-focused mindset and strong teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload inbound deliveries.
• Verify incoming goods against purchase orders, delivery dockets and packing slips.
• Inspect products for damage, shortages and quality concerns.
• Report discrepancies or damaged goods promptly.
• Accurately receive inventory into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Label stock as required before storage.
• Complete receiving documentation accurately.
• Operate high reach forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Putaway stock to designated locations.
• Store products in correct racking and bin locations.
• Follow FIFO and FEFO inventory procedures.
• Update warehouse systems with accurate stock locations.

About the Role

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for the efficient receipt, storage and putaway of inbound stock while maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring all products are stored safely within the warehouse.

This role requires confidence operating Linde high reach forklifts, electric pallet trucks and associated warehouse equipment within a busy distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Current Forklift Licence (essential)
• Proven High Reach Forklift experience in a warehouse environment
• Experience with receiving, putaway and inventory control processes
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Strong understanding of FIFO and stock rotation procedures
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
• Reliable work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
