Job summary

Exide Technologies in Springvale, Victoria, is seeking a Warehouse Operations Coordinator to join our Operations team at the earliest date. You will actively participate in day-to-day Victorian warehouse activities, ensuring safe, efficient and accurate manufacture of forklift batteries, and timely receiving and despatch of freight.

Reporting to the Operations and Supply Chain Manager, Australasia, you will maintain stock integrity, support cycle counts and stocktakes, and uphold safety, quality

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse assembly activities
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
• Proactive communication with colleagues and customers
• Problem-solving and continuous improvement skills

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain safety culture by reducing workplace risks and ensuring compliance with legislation, standards and QMS.
• Warehouse Operations, Forklift Battery Assembly and Production
• Receiving and Despatch
• Inventory and stock control with cycle counts and annual stocktake
• Equipment maintenance and calibration
