Job summary

Supercharge Batteries P/L in Laverton seeks an energetic Inventory Controller for a permanent full-time role. You will report to the Warehouse Manager and support daily warehouse and supply chain operations in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with warehousing and sales teams on order fulfilment, stock movements, and inventory accuracy, including PO creation and goods receipts, with attention to safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence and safe operation are mandatory.
• Advanced Excel and MS Office skills required.
• High attention to inventory accuracy and paperwork.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Service-oriented attitude with ability to work independently.
• Physically capable of manual handling and lifting.
• Commitment to OHSE policies and safe work practices.
• Warehouse/inventory experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders and distribute to depots/sales reps.
• Plan and coordinate depot stock replenishment.
• Verify stock transfers in SAP or K-Mobile.
• Prepare documentation and book transport providers.
• Create POs and process goods receipts for warehouse supplies.
• Assist with order picking during peak periods.
• Support general warehouse and inventory control activities.
• Coordinate transport bookings and related paperwork.
• Provide retail and counter sales support to trade customers.

About the Role

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Inventory Controller to join our team in a permanent, full-time position based at our Laverton warehouse.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will play a key role in supporting daily warehouse and supply chain operations in a fast-paced environment.

This role involves close collaboration with warehousing and sales teams, including order fulfilment, stock movement coordination, and inventory accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Processing customer orders and distributing them to depots and sales representatives
• Planning and coordinating depot stock replenishment
• Verifying stock transfers within SAP or K-Mobile systems
• Preparing documentation and booking transport providers
• Creating purchase orders (POs) and processing goods receipts for warehouse supplies
• Assisting with order picking during peak periods or staff shortages
• Supporting general warehouse and inventory control activities
• Documentation and facilitate the booking of transport providers
• Create Purchase orders (POs) and goods receipts for warehouse -related supplies
• Order picking when short of staff in the warehouse.
• Providing retail and counter sales support to trade and retail customers.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• A current Forklift Licence (mandatory)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory and paperwork
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• A service-focused attitude with the ability to work independently
• Physical capability to handle manual handling and heavy lifting
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to OHSE policies
• A proactive and reliable work ethic
• Warehouse or inventory experience in a similar environment will be highly regarded.
