Job summary

AkzoNobel in Sydney seeks an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead the Wetherill Park operation, ensuring safe, efficient and timely service while maintaining stock control.

You will manage day‑to‑day activities, plan workload, develop the warehouse team, coordinate receipt, picking and dispatch, and work with Sales to ensure smooth customer fulfilment.

This hands‑on role requires strong leadership, HSE commitment and continuous improvement mindset, with proficiency in SAP and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory role.
• Strong people leadership and team coordination skills.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, and strong Microsoft Office and email skills.
• Sound understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management and stock control.
• A demonstrated commitment to HSE, process compliance and continuous improvement.
• The ability to work hands‑on and support operational activities when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Wetherill Park Warehouse, ensuring safe, efficient and timely service.
• Plan warehouse activities and allocate tasks to ensure maximum efficiency and achievement of stock control targets.
• Lead and support warehouse team members, including developing their skills and capabilities.
• Maintain accurate stock control, including cycle counts, annual stocktake and SLOB management.
• Coordinate the receipt, put‑away, picking, packing and dispatch of products.
• Tint paint and load vehicles when required, while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.
• Manage warehouse layout and support planning for future product range expansion.
• Ensure effective processing of warehouse documentation, data entry and administration.
• Support purchasing, dispatch, invoicing and other warehouse administration activities.
