Job summary

AkzoNobel is seeking a Warehouse Operator to support daily warehouse operations in Sydney. You will work closely with the Warehouse Supervisor to ensure on-time, full deliveries and uphold safety standards, while continually improving stock handling and processes.

Key tasks include picking, packing, dispatching orders, receiving stock, loading vehicles, and maintaining documentation. A forklift licence and prior warehouse experience are preferred, with SAP or similar systems an advantage.

Qualifications

• Minimum warehouse experience preferred.
• Valid forklift licence required.
• Experience operating reach and counterbalance forklifts.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Good physical fitness for manual handling tasks.
• Self-motivated with a team-oriented attitude.
• Experience using SAP or similar warehouse systems desirable.
• Experience with stock control and inventory processes desirable.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders accurately and on time.
• Receive, unload and put away stock replenishments.
• Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Tint paint products as required.
• Process warehouse documentation including delivery dockets, consignment notes and Dangerous Goods paperwork.
• Maintain accurate stock handling and order processing.
• Undertake cycle counts and assist with stocktakes.
• Manage damaged stock appropriately.
• Liaise with customers and suppliers.
• Support reporting and data entry requirements.
