Job summary

AkzoNobel is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations at the Wetherill Park site. You will oversee stock control, customer service and team coordination, driving improvements in safety and efficiency.

You will manage planning, training and SAP-based processes, collaborating with Sales, Procurement and IT to ensure smooth fulfilment and compliant operations. Hands-on supervision in a fast-paced environment is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse, logistics or distribution supervisory role.
• Strong people leadership and team coordination skills.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Customer service mindset with stakeholder relationship ability.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Sound understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management and stock control.
• Commitment to HSE, process compliance and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate day-to-day operations of the Wetherill Park Warehouse.
• Plan activities and allocate tasks to maximise efficiency.
• Lead and develop warehouse team members.
• Maintain accurate stock control including cycle counts.
• Coordinate receipt, put-away, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Tint paint and load vehicles with safety and quality focus.
• Manage warehouse layout and future planning.
• Ensure accurate processing of warehouse documentation.
• Provide back-up support to Warehouse Administrator.
• Maintain strong customer service and liaison with stakeholders.
• Work with Sales and Warehouse teams for smooth fulfilment.
• Facilitate site safety meetings and conduct HSE audits.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Become proficient in SAP and other systems.
• Collaborate with Procurement, IT, Accounts teams.
• Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely.
