Job summary

Arrow Worldwide’s Contract Logistics Division in Altona, Melbourne, is seeking a full-time Warehouse Operations Coordinator. You will coordinate daily warehouse activities, support operational efficiency, and ensure high service standards across the Altona DC.

You will work with warehouse teams, customers and stakeholders to assist with labour planning, inventory management, reporting and day-to-day warehouse requirements in a fast-paced 3PL environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support daily warehouse activities to maintain efficient workflows.

• Coordinate stock requirements and container unpacking priorities to minimise detention costs.
• Support safety procedures, toolbox meetings and compliance standards.
• Utilise the WMS and reporting tools to monitor performance and drive improvements.
• Review supplier invoices for accuracy and assist with approvals.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Support budget monitoring and business objective reporting.

Arrow's Contract Logistics Division (3PL) based in Altona, is seeking a full-time Warehouse Operations Coordinator.

This 3PL Warehouse Operations Coordinator position reports directly to the Victorian Contract Logistics Manager this position will play an important role in coordinating daily warehouse activities, supporting operational efficiency and ensuring a high standard of service delivery across our Altona Distribution Centre.

Working closely with warehouse teams, customers and internal stakeholders, you will assist with labour planning, inventory management, operational reporting and the coordination of day-to-day warehouse requirements.

We are looking for a proactive, organised and hands-on individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced, service-driven environment and can effectively manage competing priorities.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a 3PL warehouse environment, strong organisational skills and the ability to build positive working relationships. A practical, solutions-focused approach and willingness to support the wider team will be essential to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Warehouse Operations Coordination: Coordinate and support daily warehouse activities to maintain efficient workflows and meet customer service requirements.
• Customer Service & Issue Resolution: Liaise with warehouse teams and customers to assist with operational enquiries, resolve issues and maintain stock accuracy.
• Labour Planning: Assist with daily labour planning and resource allocation to support operational requirements and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Stock & Container Coordination: Coordinate urgent stock requirements and container unpacking priorities to support timely turnaround and minimise detention costs.
• Toolbox Meetings: Assist with the coordination and delivery of monthly toolbox meetings to reinforce safety procedures and operational standards.
• Inventory Management: Coordinate routine cycle counts and assist with physical stocktakes, stock reconciliations and inventory accuracy.
• Reporting & WMS: Utilise the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and reporting tools to monitor operational performance, identify discrepancies and support process improvements.
• Supplier Invoice Processing: Review and verify supplier invoices for accuracy and assist with the approval process in line with company procedures.
• Client Relationship Management: Maintain positive working relationships with customers, providing timely communication and assisting with operational requirements.
• Safety & Compliance: Support the implementation of workplace safety procedures, training requirements and compliance standards.
• Quality Control & Continuous Improvement: Assist with quality control activities, identify opportunities for improvement and support the implementation of operational efficiencies.
• MHE Coordination: Coordinate the availability, utilisation and maintenance requirements of Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Financial & Operational Support: Assist with monitoring operational expenses, revenue and performance reporting to support budget management and business objectives.
