Job summary

Salty Captain is an Australian cleaning and equipment brand operating across ecommerce and major retail channels. We are seeking a Warehouse Manager to own day-to-day operations on the warehouse floor, lead a small team, and drive accuracy in picking, packing, and dispatch.

You will manage labour rostering, inbound stock, stock put-away, and inventory checks, while collaborating with wholesale and retail orders.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse management or senior leadership experience.
• Highly organised and process driven.
• Able to lead a team and hold them accountable.
• Understands inventory control and stock management.
• Experience with Cin7, Shopify, Shippit or similar platforms preferred.

You will take ownership of the day-to-day operation of our warehouse. This is not a desk-only management position. You will be comfortable running the warehouse floor, leading the team, solving problems and getting involved when required.

• Rostering and managing warehouse labour

• Stock put-away and warehouse organisation
• Inventory accuracy and cycle counts
• Coordinating wholesale and retail orders
• Ensuring major retail orders are prepared accurately and on time
• Managing returns, damages and stock discrepancies

About you

• Previous warehouse management or senior warehouse leadership experience

• Comfortable managing and holding a team accountable
• Understands inventory control
• Can work in a fast-moving environment
• Looks for ways to improve processes rather than simply maintaining them
• Comfortable using warehouse and inventory software
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience with warehouse or inventory management systems is important. Experience with Cin7, Shopify, Shippit or similar platforms would be highly regarded.
