Job summary

Planet Protector Packaging in Sydney, NSW, is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead the on‑floor team and own receipt, storage and dispatch of goods. You will work closely with the Sydney CCO and collaborate with sales and customer experience teams.

This hands‑on role requires a current forklift licence, 5+ years warehousing experience, and strong leadership, organizational and communication skills. You will oversee picking, packing, stock counts, and ensure accurate labeling and paperwork.

Qualifications

• A current forklift licence (essential).
• Minimum 5 years warehousing and distribution experience, ideally leading a team.
• Ability to work safely in a physical environment and lead by example.
• Strong organisational, numerical and communication skills.
• Comfortable with inventory and reporting tools (Xero, Katana and Excel).

Responsibilities

• Lead, train and support the warehouse team, set daily priorities and approve timesheets.
• Oversee picking, packing and dispatch, with standard orders out within 3 business days.
• Load and unload trucks, including forklift operation, and assist with sea freight containers and documentation.
• Receive and store goods accurately, run stock counts and plan reordering.
• Check quality of products and packaging before shipping, and ensure correct labelling and paperwork.
• Coordinate freight partners and customer deliveries, including samples for the sales team.
• Produce daily and weekly production reports.
• Keep equipment maintained and the warehouse clean, safe and free of hazards.
• Drive continuous improvement in pick and pack efficiency and freight and supplier costs.
• Liaise with freight companies and manage movements.

Job description

You will report directly to the Sydney team (CCO) and work closely with our customer experience and sales teams. This is a hands‑on role, so you will be on the floor with your team as well as managing it.

Key responsibilities

Lead, train and support the warehouse team, set daily priorities and approve timesheets

Oversee picking, packing and dispatch, with standard orders out within 3 business days

Load and unload trucks, including forklift operation, and assist with sea freight containers and documentation
