Job summary

Inglewood Coffee Roasters is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to connect production, sales and distribution and evolve our warehouse operations in Melbourne.

You will own inventory accuracy, lead dispatch, and optimise layouts while implementing safer, more efficient processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience as a Warehouse Manager or Supervisor, ideally in coffee, food, beverage, or FMCG
• Hands-on warehouse experience on the floor and in fast-paced environments
• Experience with HACCP or food safety compliance
• Forklift licence is required
• Track record of improving processes and workflows

Responsibilities

• Own inventory accuracy through stocktakes, cycle counts, and strong processes
• Lead picking, packing, and dispatch with speed, accuracy and care
• Manage third-party drop shipping and ensure on-time delivery
• Collaborate with sales and customer service to prioritise urgent orders
• Refine workflows to improve speed and reduce errors
• Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing warehouse team

What You’ll Be Doing

Inventory & Stock Control

Own inventory accuracy through stocktakes, cycle counts, and strong processes

Stay ahead of stock risks and discrepancies before they become problems

Work closely with production and purchasing to keep everything flowing seamlessly

Lead picking, packing, and dispatch with speed, accuracy, and care

Manage third-party drop shipping and ensure everything lands on time

Collaborate with sales and customer service to prioritise urgent orders

Continuously refine workflows to improve speed and reduce errors

Warehouse Operations & Efficiency

Optimise layout, systems, and processes for maximum productivity

Identify smarter ways to work — then implement them

Maintain a clean, organised, and high-functioning warehouse environment

Leadership & Culture

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing warehouse team

Build a culture of accountability, respect, and continuous improvement

Communicate clearly and confidently across teams

Safety & Compliance

Own workplace health & safety standards

Ensure safe handling, storage, and procedures are always followed (in line with HACCP)

Run regular safety checks and training

What You Bring

You’re not just experienced, you’re proactive, sharp, and solutions-driven.

2+ years' experience as a Warehouse Manager or Supervisor, ideally in coffee, food, beverage, or FMCG

Recent, active hands-on warehouse experience, you're not out of touch with the floor

Thrives in a fast-paced, physically active environment

Experience with HACCP or food safety compliance highly regarded

Hands-on experience with inventory/warehouse management systems

Forklift licence (required)

A track record of improving processes, not just maintaining them

Strong people leadership, you can run a team and hold a high standard without micromanaging
