Job summary

MyFreightCareer is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Operator for a busy international freight forwarding and logistics environment in NSW. You will pick, pack and dispatch orders, operate the forklift and assist with shipping documentation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

This role blends office and hands-on duties, offering training and progression for reliable, detail-oriented team players who prioritise safety and warehouse cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Current Australian forklift licence is essential.
• Experience in freight forwarding, transport, logistics, warehousing or 3PL.
• Physical capability for warehouse duties including pick/pack and unpacking containers.
• Good knowledge of freight documentation and warehouse procedures.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
• Operate forklift to move cargo.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Create out turn reports.
• Coordinate transport bookings and prepare documentation.
• Communicate with customers, drivers and internal stakeholders.

The Requirements

• Current Australian forklift licence is essential
• Previous experience in freight forwarding, transport, logistics, warehousing or 3PL
• Physical capabilities to perform warehouse duties, including pick/pack, and unpacking of containers
• Strong computer skills

• Reliable, and well organised
• Good knowledge of freight documentation and warehouse procedures
