Job summary

Tns Warehousing And Logistics is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator / Warehouse Pick Packer to join our Port of Brisbane team on a full-time basis. The role focuses on forklift operation, loading/unloading, stock movements and general warehouse duties.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a forklift in a busy warehouse environment.
• Experience with loading and unloading trucks and containers.
• Ability to perform manual handling and stock movements.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently within the warehouse.
• Unpack shipping containers containing various goods.
• Manual handling and movement of stock during container unpacking.
• Load and unload trucks and palletised goods.
• Move and store palletised stock.
• Assist with packing and unpacking of containers.
• Replenish warehouse pick locations and inbound stock.
• Prepare, pack and label outbound stock for dispatch.
• Pick and pack customer orders as required.
• Conduct stock counts and assist with inventory control.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized warehouse.

TNS Warehousing & Logistics is a family owned and operated integrated logistics provider that has been operating from the Port of Brisbane for the past 20 years.

Our warehousing operation provides storage, container unpacking, order fulfilment, pick/pack and distribution services.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Forklift Operator / Warehouse Pick Packer to join our team on a full-time basis.

This is a hands‑on warehouse role with a strong focus on forklift operation, loading and unloading, stock movements and general warehouse duties.

Key responsibilities:

Operating forklifts safely and efficiently within the warehouse

Unpacking shipping containers containing a variety of products including solar panels, bulka bags, steel and palletised goods

Manual handling and movement of stock during container unpacking

Loading and unloading trucks

Moving and putting away palletised stock

Assisting with the packing and unpacking of shipping containers

Replenishing warehouse pick locations

Receiving and processing inbound stock

Preparing, packing and labelling outbound stock for dispatch

Picking and packing customer orders as required

Completing stock counts and assisting with inventory control

Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse

Working safely around pedestrians, vehicles and other warehouse equipment

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience operating a forklift in a busy warehouse environment

Previous experience loading and unloading trucks

Previous warehouse/storeperson experience

Good understanding of safe forklift and warehouse practices

A strong focus on safety, accuracy and productivity

Clear communication and teamwork skills

A reliable, proactive and self-motivated approach

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment

Willingness to assist with general warehouse, pick/pack and container work when required

We are looking for someone who is confident and experienced on a forklift but is also willing to get off the forklift and assist the warehouse team when required.
