GO3PL is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Inbound & Outbound Coordinator in Melbourne to manage day-to-day freight movement, receiving, putaway and dispatch while ensuring accuracy and safety. You will operate forklifts, verify stock, and coordinate with administration, drivers and customers in a fast-paced 3PL environment.
Data accuracy, strong safety practices and teamwork are essential, with exposure to CartonCloud or similar WMS systems and RF scanning preferred.
The Warehouse Inbound & Outbound Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day physical coordination, verification and movement of freight entering and leaving the GO3PL warehouse.
This is a hands-on operational position, not a management or supervisory role.
The Coordinator is a key physical control point between Warehouse Administration, the warehouse floor, customers and transport providers. The role ensures inbound and outbound freight is correctly identified, checked, safely handled, accurately moved and communicated for system processing.
The Coordinator will personally undertake normal day-to-day forklift movements, loading, unloading, staging and stock handling while working as part of the wider warehouse team. Additional team members will assist where volume, size, weight or complexity requires additional resources.
The objective is simple: ensure stock entering and leaving GO3PL is safe, accurate, identifiable and accounted for.
INBOUND / RECEIVING
Receive and unload trucks, couriers, containers and customer deliveries.
Safely operate forklifts and material-handling equipment.
Check inbound freight against Purchase Orders, packing lists, manifests and receiving instructions.
Physically verify pallet, carton and unit quantities as required.
Check customer, product/SKU, quantity and freight identification.
Inspect incoming freight for visible damage.
Identify shortages, overages, incorrect products and unexpected freight.
Photograph and document discrepancies or damage where required.
Ensure unidentified freight is not placed into general warehouse stock without investigation.
Segregate damaged, unidentified or disputed stock until resolved.
Stage received stock correctly for receiving and putaway.
Communicate physical receipt information and discrepancies to Warehouse Administration.
Assist with putaway and warehouse location movements.
Record unloading times, additional handling and unusual activity where required.
Keep receiving areas organised and prevent incomplete or unidentified freight accumulating.
Escalate discrepancies before unresolved stock enters normal warehouse circulation.
OUTBOUND / DISPATCH
Coordinate the physical dispatch of customer orders, collections, couriers and other outbound movements.
Check completed orders before release.
Cross-check physical freight against Sale Orders, picking documentation, dispatch instructions and CartonCloud where required.
Verify customer, order/reference, product/SKU and quantity.
Verify pallet, carton and handling-unit counts.
Check freight labels and identification.
Keep different customers and orders clearly separated.
Stage completed orders for collection.
Safely load trucks, couriers and customer vehicles.
Confirm the correct freight is loaded onto the correct vehicle/carrier.
Verify customer pickups before releasing stock.
Identify cancelled, amended or revised orders before dispatch.
Ensure freight is appropriately wrapped, stable and suitable for transport.
Identify damaged or unsafe freight before loading.
Capture photos, pallet counts or other dispatch evidence where required.
Ensure unauthorised or unexplained stock does not leave the warehouse.
Report orders not collected or dispatched as planned.
Ensure freight remaining in dispatch at the end of the day is identified and accounted for.
The Coordinator is expected to identify discrepancies between physical stock, documentation and CartonCloud/WMS information.
This includes:
Wrong product or SKU.
Missing or additional stock.
Incorrect or missing labels.
Unidentified freight.
Damaged freight.
Incorrect warehouse locations.
Incorrectly staged orders.
Cancelled or amended orders.
Physical stock not matching CartonCloud.
Stock movements without appropriate records.
Where something does not reasonably reconcile, the Coordinator is expected to stop the movement where necessary and elevate the discrepancy before proceeding.
Stock must not be received or released based purely on assumption.
Operate LF forklifts safely and competently.
Complete required equipment pre-start checks.
Load and unload trucks and containers.
Move palletised freight throughout the warehouse.
Retrieve and put away stock.
Stage inbound and outbound freight.
Perform replenishment and location movements.
Wrap, rewrap and restack freight where required.
Assist with oversized, long or unusual freight within equipment and competency limitations.
Assist with picking and packing where required.
Assist with stocktakes, cycle counts and stock investigations.
Maintain organised receiving, dispatch and staging areas.
Complete general warehouse duties as required.
Request additional assistance where volume, size, weight or complexity requires it.
This is a hands-on role within a wider warehouse team.
The Coordinator is not expected to handle the entire inbound and outbound operation alone.
During larger deliveries, containers, high-volume dispatches, oversized freight or busy periods, warehouse team members will work together to complete the job safely and efficiently.
The Coordinator will also assist other areas of the warehouse when inbound and outbound activity permits.
The role has ownership of the inbound/outbound function but does not have people-management responsibilities.
GO3PL operates using CartonCloud Warehouse Management System.
The Coordinator will use CartonCloud and associated systems to check information relating to:
Sale Orders and Purchase Orders.
Products and SKUs.
Quantities.
Stock information.
Warehouse locations.
Receiving and dispatch.
The Coordinator must be able to recognise when the physical warehouse and system information do not match and communicate discrepancies promptly.
Warehouse Administration remains responsible for primary administrative/WMS processing unless otherwise directed.
Previous CartonCloud experience is highly regarded, but training can be provided.
Deal professionally with drivers, couriers and customer collections.
Confirm collection/delivery details before physical movement.
Ensure vehicles use appropriate loading/unloading areas.
Confirm freight before release.
Escalate unexpected or questionable collections.
Record relevant collection information where required.
Communicate delays or issues to Warehouse Administration/Operations.
Record loading, unloading or waiting times where required.
Comply with GO3PL WHS requirements.
Operate forklifts safely.
Maintain pedestrian and traffic awareness.
Ensure loads are stable and safely handled.
Identify unsafe or damaged pallets.
Maintain safe loading/unloading areas.
Report damaged racking, equipment faults and warehouse damage.
Report hazards, incidents and near misses.
Stop unsafe movements.
Request additional people or equipment where required.
At the end of each day, the Coordinator should be able to account for:
What was physically received.
What was physically dispatched.
Expected freight that did not arrive.
Freight that did not dispatch.
Stock remaining in receiving or dispatch.
Unidentified, damaged or quarantined stock.
Stock discrepancies identified during the day.
Outstanding collections.
Known movements requiring preparation for the following day.
Outstanding matters must be communicated and carried forward rather than assumed to be complete.

Customer or order.
Quantity.
Physical stock.
Documentation.
CartonCloud information.
Damage.
Vehicle suitability.
Safety.
Authority to collect.
The Coordinator is not expected to independently solve every issue.
Their responsibility is to identify the issue, protect the stock, prevent an incorrect or unsafe movement and elevate it to the appropriate person for resolution.
Performance will include:
Inbound receiving accuracy.
Reduction in incorrect stock movements.
Discrepancies identified before dispatch or putaway.
Zero unauthorised stock releases.
Timely escalation of discrepancies.
Damage prevention.
Loading/unloading efficiency.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Highly regarded:
3PL or multi-client warehouse experience.
CartonCloud or other WMS experience.
RF scanning experience.
Oversized freight experience.
Experience investigating stock discrepancies.
The successful person will:
Take ownership of their responsibilities.
Be observant and detail focused.
Check rather than assume.
Question something that does not look right.
Communicate issues clearly.
Be organised, reliable and punctual.
Work productively without constant supervision.
Ask for assistance when required.
Support other warehouse team members.
Take pride in maintaining an organised warehouse.
Understand that accuracy is as important as speed.
Follow issues through rather than simply passing them on.
Be comfortable working within a rapidly growing business.
This position has no direct reports and is not responsible for managing or supervising the warehouse team.
The Coordinator is responsible for the physical inbound and outbound function and works collaboratively with Warehouse Administration, warehouse operators and Operations Management.
Additional warehouse resources will support the Coordinator when workload, volume or movement complexity requires them.
The role is designed to provide GO3PL with a dedicated, hands‑on warehouse professional who can be trusted to help ensure that every stock movement entering or leaving the business is safe, accurate, identifiable and accounted for.
