Job summary

Mascot Engineering is seeking a hands-on Warehouse & Distribution Supervisor to oversee daily despatch and warehouse operations at our Smithfield head office and main manufacturing site. This fast-paced role leads forklift operators, pick-and-packers and truck drivers, coordinating orders, documentation and transport to ensure on-time, accurate deliveries across a national network.

You will work with Customer Service and Production Manager to keep daily operations running smoothly and maintain

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar warehouse, despatch or distribution role.
• Current forklift licence and Australian driver’s licence.
• Ability to lead a team and coordinate competing priorities in a hands-on environment.
• Strong computer skills; experience with MYOB advantageous.
• Strong stock control skills and proactive approach to improving operations.
• Uphold safety and quality assurance systems and processes.
• Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to support other areas of the business.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Relevant qualifications in warehousing, production or management highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of warehouse operators, including forklift operators and truck drivers, to pick and pack customer orders safely and accurately.
• Coordinate customer, stock and manufacturing documentation to keep orders and operations moving.
• Ensure prompt and accurate order fulfilment.
• Work closely with the Customer Service team to coordinate supply and keep customer deliveries on track.
• Control the receipt and despatch of goods across a busy manufacturing and distribution site.
• Maintain accurate stock records and oversee monthly stocktakes using established systems.
• With the logistics team, coordinate local and interstate transport, including our own delivery vehicles and transfers to interstate branches.
• Work alongside the Production Manager to address daily operational requirements.

We are seeking a hands-on Warehouse & Distribution Supervisor to oversee daily despatch and warehouse operations at our Smithfield head office and main manufacturing site.

This is a fast-paced role leading an experienced team of forklift operators, pick-and-packers and truck drivers. With our own delivery vehicles, customer orders and regular stock movements to interstate branches, you will play a central role in getting products where they need to be safely, accurately and on time.

Working closely with Customer Service and the Production Manager, you will coordinate orders, documentation and transport, keeping daily operations running smoothly and delivering a reliable customer supply experience.

About you

A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to support other areas of the business.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Relevant qualifications in warehousing, production or management will be highly regarded.
