Job summary

Manassen Foods Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Warehouse & Distribution Supervisor to join our national distribution centre in Sydney. You will act as 2IC to the Warehouse Manager, leading day-to-day warehouse activities, guiding the warehouse and administration teams, and ensuring safe, accurate and efficient movement of products.

• Proven experience leading a warehouse team or supervisor role.
• Experience coordinating inbound/outbound activities in FMCG or similar fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of inventory and supply chain processes.
• Ability to coach and motivate a small operational/administration team.
• Commitment to workplace safety, food safety, quality and compliance.
• Organised with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication with internal/external stakeholders.
• Proactive and continuous improvement mindset.

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Warehouse & Distribution Supervisor to join our national distribution centre. Working as the 2IC to the Warehouse Manager, you will lead day-to-day warehouse activities, support the warehouse and administration teams, and help ensure products move safely, accurately and efficiently through the operation.

What You'll Be Doing

You will coordinate warehouse and distribution activities across inbound and outbound operations, lead the warehouse and administration teams, and support reliable service, inventory control and continuous improvement.

• Warehouse & Distribution Operations - Coordinate inbound product from local and overseas suppliers and support the safe, accurate and timely movement of outbound orders within agreed quality, cost and service requirements.
• Team Leadership - Provide day-to-day direction, coaching and support to warehouse and administration team members. Build capability, accountability and effective teamwork across the operation.
• Freight & Service Coordination - Optimise freight movements, maintain productive relationships with transport providers and support the delivery of agreed customer service levels.
• Inventory & Systems - Support inventory accuracy, warehouse management system discipline, operational reporting and effective supply chain processes.
• Operational Excellence - Manage day-to-day operational issues, review workflows and implement practical improvements to processes, procedures and productivity.
• Safety, Food Safety & Quality - Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with workplace safety, food safety and quality standards for employees, contractors and visitors.
• Stakeholder Partnership - Work collaboratively with internal teams, external providers and senior leaders, contributing a warehouse and logistics perspective to operational decisions.

What You Bring

• Demonstrated experience in a warehouse team leader or supervisor role, with exposure to a broad range of warehousing and distribution activities
• Experience coordinating transport, freight or distribution activities, ideally within FMCG, food, manufacturing or a similarly fast-paced environment
• Practical experience using and maintaining a warehouse management system, with a sound understanding of inventory and supply chain processes
• Strong people leadership skills, with the ability to coach, organise and motivate a small operational and administration team
• A strong commitment to workplace safety, food safety, quality and operational compliance
• Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise competing demands, resolve issues and meet operational deadlines
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to build relationships across a range of internal and external stakeholders
• Sound judgement, initiative and practical problem-solving skills, including the ability to work independently when required
• A proactive, accountable and continuous improvement mindset
