Job summary

MAAS CONTAINER TRANSPORT AND WAREHOUSING PTY LTD in Melbourne seeks a Warehouse Coordinator to manage day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring accurate receivals, stock control and dispatches while maintaining safe, efficient workflows.

You will coordinate warehouse staff and forklifts, monitor inbound/outbound freight, and ensure records and reports reflect precise stock movements, with a strong emphasis on safety and process improvement.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of experience in warehouse operations or warehouse coordination.
• Strong hands-on experience with Freight Tracker WMS is essential.
• Experience in transport, logistics or 3PL warehousing.
• A solid understanding of inventory management, receivals, dispatches and stock control.
• Experience coordinating warehouse staff and managing daily operational priorities.
• Strong computer skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, time management and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work independently and take ownership of warehouse operations.
• Experience handling or coordinating AQIS/DAFF-regulated or quarantine-held cargo.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receivals, dispatches, container unpacks and stock movements.
• Manage stock-on-hand, inventory control and warehouse locations using Freight Tracker WMS.
• Ensure all warehouse transactions, stock movements and dispatches are accurately recorded in the system.
• Coordinate warehouse staff, forklifts and daily workloads to meet operational requirements.
• Monitor inbound and outbound freight and ensure customer orders are completed within required timeframes.
• Maintain accurate documentation, delivery records and warehouse reports.
• Ensure warehouse procedures, workplace health and safety requirements and housekeeping standards are maintained.
• Communicate effectively with transport, administration, bookings and customer service teams.
• Identify operational issues and implement practical solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Assist with staff supervision, performance monitoring and the implementation of warehouse procedures.
