Job summary

Garden Life in inner-west St Peters operates a 1100sqm retail space and supplies a diverse range of pots and specimen plants across Australia. We are seeking a Warehouse Co-ordinator on a permanent part-time basis to join a fun, collaborative team with an immediate start.

You will be responsible for receiving and dispatching heavy goods, pallet wrapping, stock-take, and local deliveries, with liaison to freight providers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar warehouse role.
• Organised with great attention to detail.
• Good communications skills.
• Forklift licence and a manual car licence for driving the truck.
• Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading containers.
• Picking and packing of orders.
• Ensuring warehouse/store is organised and clean.
• Stock control and inventory management.
• Deliver products in the local area.
• Regularly liaise with freight companies to arrange delivery of stock.

About the role

We are seeking a Warehouse Co-ordinator to join our team. This is a permanent part-time role, to join a fun & collaborative team environment with an immediate start.

Your tasks will include receiving and dispatching heavy goods, pallet wrapping and stacking and managing stock-take and stock transfer from our nearby warehouse.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading containers
• Picking and packing of orders
• Ensuring warehouse/store is organised and clean
• Stock control and inventory management
• Deliver products in the local area
• Regularly liaise with freight companies to arrange delivery of stock

To be successful in this role you will need:
