Job summary

Mr Fothergill’s Seeds in South Windsor, NSW, is seeking a physically fit team member to work in a fast-paced warehouse. Responsibilities

• Replenish picking bays from bulk warehouse.
• Receive goods and check delivery dockets.
• Load and unload transport vehicles via forklift.
• Unpack and store deliveries of finished goods and raw materials.
• Manage stock rotation and locate stock accurately.
• Dispatch items and display stands for point-of-sale.
• Assist machine operators by supplying raw materials.
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse floor.
• Contribute to general warehouse maintenance and ad hoc duties.

Job description

Mr Fothergill’s is a market-leading manufacturer and wholesaler of gardening products for home gardeners. Our range of products includes packet seeds, bulbs, propagation products and garden tools. Our retail customers include national retailers such as Bunnings, Big W and The Reject Shop, as well as thousands of independent garden retailers nationwide. Our office is located in South Windsor (North-West Sydney) and we have a team of approx. 60 people – including the office, warehouse and field sales team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic team member to work in a fast paced environment.

If you are someone who is physically fit, enjoy varied tasks each day and possess a forklift license, then this role would certainly suit you.

Working in our warehouse your duties will include (and not limited to):

Replenish picking bays from bulk warehouse

Receive goods delivered to warehouse, checking all delivery dockets

Load and unload incoming and outgoing transport vehicles via forklift

Unpack and store deliveries of finished goods and raw materials

Manage stock rotation of product in storage

Dispatch point of sales items and display stands

Assist machine operators by ensuring there is an adequate supply of raw materials

Ensure that warehouse floor is kept free of obstructions and is maintained in a clean and professional state

Compile raw materials for 3rd party packing requirements

Ensure that all stock is correctly located, rotated and clearly marked throughout the warehouse.
