Job summary

Bowens is seeking a warehouse person for our Distribution Centre in Victoria. You will be responsible for picking and packing timber and hardware orders, assisting with stock control and general warehouse tasks, and operating a forklift to access stock as needed.

This role requires a valid forklift licence and offers opportunities for MR licence advancement, along with on-site parking and a supportive training culture within Australia’s leading independent building materials supplier.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence is required.
• MR licence is advantageous.
• Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-moving environment.
• Capable of undertaking physical tasks safely.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing timber and hardware orders.
• Assisting with general warehouse duties (stock control, cleaning).
• Operating a forklift to access stock required for orders.
• Follow OH&S requirements and Bowens policies.
• Forklift loading/unloading trucks when required.

As a warehouse person at our Distribution Centre, your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Picking and Packing timber and hardware orders
• Assisting with general warehouse duties eg. stock control, cleaning
• Operating a forklift to access stock required to complete orders
• Follow OH&S requirements and Bowens Policies
• Forklift loading / unloading trucks when required

We are looking for an individual who possess the below skills:

• A forklift licence is required
• An MR licence is advantageous
• Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-moving environment to meet high supply demands
• A capability to undertake physical tasks safely
• A positive work ethic and a can do attitude.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Good communications skills
