Job summary

Bowens is seeking a warehouse person for our Distribution Centre in Australia. You will be responsible for picking and packing timber and hardware orders, assisting with stock control and general warehouse duties, and operating a forklift to access stock for order fulfilment.

Applicants must hold a forklift licence; MR licence is a plus. The role requires the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment, strong teamwork, and good communications.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing timber and hardware orders.

• Forklift loading / unloading of trucks when required.

As a warehouse person at our Distribution Centre, your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Picking and Packing timber and hardware orders
• Assisting with general warehouse duties eg. stock control, cleaning
• Operating a forklift to access stock required to complete orders
• Follow OH&S requirements and Bowens Policies
• Forklift loading / unloading trucks when required

We are looking for an individual who possess the below skills:

• A forklift licence is essential
• An MR licence is advantageous
• Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-moving environment to meet high supply demands
• A capability to undertake physicaltasks safely
• A positive work ethic and a can do attitude.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Good communications skills
