Job summary

Healthcare Professionals Group seeks an experienced forklift operator for a long-term casual assignment in Sydney. The role focuses on accurate, compliant handling of healthcare products in a GDP-regulated setting.

You will operate high reach and counterbalance forklifts, manage putaway and order dispatch, and ensure safety procedures are followed in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Valid LF High-Risk Work Licence.
• Experience in a warehouse within regulated healthcare or similar environment is preferred.
• Strong understanding of safety and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts (high reach and counterbalance).
• Load and unload inbound and outbound goods safely and accurately.
• Putaway, replenish and move stock within racking and staging areas.
• Pick, pack and dispatch orders.
• Follow SOPs for handling regulated and temperature-sensitive stock.
• Conduct stocktakes and cycle counts.
• Perform visual checks for damaged or non-conforming goods.
• Use systems to process stock movements inbound and outbound.

About the Opportunity

This is a hands-on warehouse role suited to an experienced forklift operator who understands the importance of accuracy, compliance, and safety in a regulated setting. You will play a key role in ensuring the efficient movement and handling of healthcare products while adhering to strict Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standards.

Skills & Experience

• Valid LF High-Risk Work Licence
• Warehouse experience within pharmaceutical, medical device, diagnostics or a highly regulated environment is preferred
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety and compliance standards
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (SAP, Oracle, JDE or similar)
• High attention to detail with a process-driven mindset
• Physically fit and comfortable working in fast-paced environments
• Good communication and a team player
• Available immediately and able to commit to a casual role
