Job summary

2XM Recruit is seeking a Warehouse Storeperson / Forklift Operator (LF) for an infrastructure client at Girraween. The role involves accurate pick packing, forklift movement, goods receipt and dispatch, and updating warehousing records.

You will work a Monday–Friday roster with an immediate start. The position offers a stable casual arrangement and an emphasis on safety within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Current and valid HRW LF Forklift Licence (essential).
• Minimum 2 years commercial warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with pick packing, goods receivable and dispatch.
• Confident using computers, including Microsoft Excel and online freight booking systems.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack customer and workshop orders accurately.
• Operate LF forklift for loading/unloading and moving stock.
• Receive incoming goods and dispatch outgoing freight.
• Book freight consignments through online portals.
• Maintain warehouse records using Excel and other systems.
• Control stock and manage inventory records.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment.
• Liaise with workshop to ensure parts and materials are supplied.

Our valued infrastructure services client has been delivering essential water and pipeline infrastructure solutions across Australia since 1936. As an industry leader, they specialise in the planning, design, construction and maintenance of critical infrastructure, delivering sustainable outcomes for the communities they serve. Due to continued operational demand, an opportunity now exists for an experienced Warehouse Storeperson / Forklift Operator to join their team based at their Girraween Workshop & Distribution Facility. This role offers an immediate start within a supportive team environment, working in a standalone warehouse adjoining a busy workshop.

Role Tasks & Duties

• Pick packing customer and workshop orders accurately and efficiently.
• Loading, unloading and moving stock using an LF Forklift.
• Receiving incoming goods and dispatching outgoing freight.
• Booking freight consignments through online freight portals.
• Basic data entry and maintaining warehouse records using Microsoft Excel.
• Stock control, inventory management and maintaining accurate warehouse records.
• General warehouse organisation, housekeeping and maintaining a safe working environment.
• Liaising with workshop personnel to ensure parts and materials are supplied efficiently.
• Assisting with general warehouse duties as required.

Required Skills, Experience & Competencies

• Current and valid HRW LF Forklift Licence (essential).
• Minimum 2 years' commercial warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience with pick packing, goods receivable and dispatch.
• Confident using computers, including Microsoft Excel and online freight booking systems.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously while also contributing within a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive work ethic.
• Commitment to maintaining high OH&S standards at all times.
• Truck Licence highly regarded but not essential.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including Drug & Alcohol screening.
• Proof of unrestricted Australian working rights
• Current and valid LF Forklift Licence must be presented on commencement.

Dress Code

• Long sleeve hi-vis shirt, or long sleeve shirt with hi-vis vest.
• Long work pants or jeans.
• Steel cap safety boots.
