Lightning HR PTY LTD in Toowoomba, QLD, is seeking a Warehouse Assistant / Agricultural Operator to learn the products, processes and day-to-day operations of a growing agricultural business.

You don't need to have extensive agricultural experience when you start, full training will be provided.

What you'll be doing

You'll initially work as a Warehouse Assistant, learning the products, processes and day-to-day operations of the business.

Your role will include:

• Forklift operation
• Picking, packing and preparing products
• Loading and unloading stock
• General warehouse duties
• Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe
• Assisting with stock and deliveries
• Learning about agricultural products and their applications
• Operating agricultural machinery, including a tractor
• Travelling to farms, orchards and rural properties
• Assisting with the application of gypsum and other agricultural products
• Working outdoors and across different agricultural properties
• Working as part of a friendly and supportive team

From Warehouse to Agricultural Operator

The successful person will have the opportunity to develop beyond the warehouse and become actively involved in agricultural field operations.

As you gain experience and knowledge, you will be trained to operate a tractor and agricultural equipment, travelling out to farms, orchards and other rural properties to assist with the application of gypsum and other agricultural products.

You'll get the opportunity to spend time out in the field, work directly with farmers and customers, and learn how agricultural products are used to improve soil and support agricultural production.

• Has a current Forklift Licence
• Is confident around machinery or keen to learn
