Job summary

WorkPac Group is seeking experienced forklift operators and store personnel for long-term roles in Toowoomba across warehousing, distribution and manufacturing. Roles are available Monday to Friday across various shifts, with pay rates ranging between $35-$39 per hour.

Successful candidates will have a forklift licence, reliable transport and prior warehousing or manufacturing experience. A pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screen may be required.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence and experience required.
• Experience in warehousing or manufacturing environments.
• Physically fit and able to pass medical and drug/alcohol screening where required.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing by hand and with the forklift.
• Operating forklifts to move material, load & unload trucks and containers, and stage orders for deliveries.
• Pallet management including packing, wrapping and labeling.
• Unloading inbound deliveries, breaking down pallets and putting stock away.
• Receiving, dispatching and scanning stock using RF scanners and internal systems.
• Transporting goods between the factory, warehouse and yard.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organized warehouse and yard.
• Performing stock counts and assisting with stocktakes.
• Carrying out minor product repairs/patching as required.
• Driving company vehicles to deliver and collect stock between sites.
• Performing general labouring and other warehouse, yard and forklift duties.

About Our Client

We have multiple clients across Toowoomba with a focus on warehousing, distribution & manufacturing. They are currently seeking experienced forklift operators and store people to commence ASAP.

What You Will Be Doing

With multiple different roles available, successful candidates will be required to work Monday to Friday across variable shift times. Pay rates will vary depending on position but can range between $35-$39 per hour.

• Picking and packing by hand and with the forklift
• Operating forklifts to move material, load & unload trucks and containers, and stage orders for deliveries
• Pallet management including packing, wrapping and labelling
• Unloading inbound deliveries, breaking down pallets and putting stock away
• Receiving, dispatching and scanning stock using RF scanners and using internal systems
• Transporting goods between the factory, warehouse and yard
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse and yard, including removal of damaged/foreign materials
• Performing stock counts and assisting with stocktakes
• Carrying out minor product repairs/patching as required
• Driving company vehicles to deliver and collect stock between sites
• Performing general labouring and other warehouse, yard and forklift duties as required

What You Will Need

• Driver’s Licence & reliable transport
• Forklift Licence & experience (High Reach experience highly desired)
• Previous experience in warehousing or manufacturing environments
• Physically fit as the roles will involve manual handling
• Willingness and ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screen where required
