Job summary

Kotzur Silos, a Toowoomba-based manufacturer of silos and bulk handling equipment, is seeking an experienced Storesperson for full-time work at our Toowoomba manufacturing plant. Role includes forklift loading/unloading, packing, stocktaking and inventory control in a small team environment.

Ideal candidates have forklift experience, WHS awareness, and strong reliability with good communication and punctuality.

Qualifications

• Forklift operation experience and WHS understanding.
• MR licence and basic computer skills preferred.
• Full Australian work rights required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers and trucks and secure loads.
• Maintain general warehouse and yard housekeeping.
• Deliver and despatch orders in company vehicles (MR).
• Pick, pack and despatch customer orders.
• Conduct stocktaking and inventory control.
• Process inventory movements using computer systems.

KOTZUR Pty Ltd is a progressive engineering/fabrication business with employees based in Toowoomba QLD and Walla Walla NSW. This role is based in Charlton (Toowoomba).

We are a specialist manufacturer of Silos and mechanical handling equipment for the agricultural, industrial and mineral resource industries.

With clients from all over Australia and overseas, we specialise in the provision of storage and handling facilities for bulk solids.

This is a full-time, permanent position working 6.00am-2.30pm Monday - Thursday, 6.00am-12.00pm Friday.

Enjoy a half day Friday.

We are growing and seeking an experienced Storesperson to join our team at our Toowoomba manufacturing plant.

Our Toowoomba business, Kotzur Bulk Solids Handling Pty Ltd, is a specialist manufacturer of mechanical handling equipment for the agricultural, industrial and mineral resource industries.

The Role:

Weare seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and preferably experienced Storeperson who is looking for a career in the manufacturing environment. Working full time, your responsibilities will include:

• Loading and unloading trailers and trucks (60%) including placement and strapping
• General warehouse and yardorganisation and housekeeping
• Deliveries in company vehicles and truck (MR)
• Picking, packing and despatching of customer orders
• Stocktaking
• Computer processing of inventory inwards and outwards

To be considered for this position, you must have:

• Strong forklift experience in loading/unloading trucks with pallets, bulky equipment, containers
• Strong forklift judgement and spatial awareness arranging placement of items on trucks, dunnage, strapping
• Understanding and commitment to WHS and Chain of Responsibility

You must have full work rights in Australia in order to apply for this position.

• MR Licence
• Certificate III in Warehousing and Logistics (desirable, not essential)
• Good computer and communication skills
• Working in a pressured and fast paced warehouse environment
• Follow instructions very well, reliable, punctual and dedicated
• Positive and friendly attitude, good work ethic and like working in a varied role within a small team
