Job summary

Kelso Building Trade Centre P/L is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Warehouse Assistant to join our team in Greystanes, NSW. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for assisting customers, stocking shelves, and maintaining the overall organisation and cleanliness of our hardware store and warehouse.

What you'll be doing

• Providing exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and helping them locate and select the right products
• Restocking and organising store shelves, ensuring products are clearly displayed and easily accessible
• Assisting with the receiving, unloading, and storage of inventory in the warehouse
• Maintaining the overall cleanliness and safety of the store and warehouse
• Actively participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of store operations

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably in a hardware or home improvement store
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for organisation and presentation
• Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently
• Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy items, as the role involves some manual labour
• Enthusiastic and eager to learn new skills
